US visa appointments in Germany
There is no visa application centre for US visas in Germany: the US Embassy in Berlin and the Consulates General in Frankfurt and Munich interview applicants, booked through U.S. Travel Docs; the consulates in Hamburg, Leipzig and Düsseldorf do no visa work.
Most German citizens don't need a US visa. Germany is a member of the Visa Waiver Program; eligible German passport holders need an approved ESTA instead of a visa for short business or tourist trips (de.usembassy.gov, read 1 Nov 2026).
