Bulgarian citizens still need a US visa. In June 2026 a U.S. delegation said Bulgaria is making notable efforts to meet the Visa Waiver Program requirements, i.e. it is not yet a member (bg.usembassy.gov, read 1 Nov 2026). The member list on the Bulgaria GSS site does not include Bulgaria (ustraveldocs.com, read 1 Nov 2026).
